Scotland Rugby League is saddened to learn of the death of former Chairman, Keith Hogg, aged 66. All our thoughts are with his wife Victoria, their sons Alasdair, Ben and Matt, his sister Debbie, and the rest of his family. Keith was the chair of Scotland Rugby League from 2009 until 2021, when he stepped down due to health issues. He was a devoted and loyal member of the organisation. The Wheelchair Player of the Year, who received the Graeme Stewart Award, named after Scotland Wheelchair RL pioneer Graeme Stewart, is Warrington Wolves star Callum Young. Young has picked up the Graeme Stewart for the first time following hi performances throughout 2022. The voting for the Roy Kinnear Award for Scotland Students Player of the Year was extremely tight again in 2022, following the Student Tri Nations last summer. Ben Morris, Connor Terrill and Oli Shakeshaft, were split by only a few votes from the Students Management team. The 2022 winner is Furness College and Barrow Raiders Conner Terrill. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has published its 2023 Prohibited List. The Prohibited List designates the substances and methods that are prohibited in sport. The dates have been announced for the men’s 2023 European Rugby League Championship A fixtures.
