I have a 2015 ecodiesel that was recently fully deleted. Ever since it was deleted it cranks over a long time before starting and idles rough for 30 seconds if the vehicle has sat overnight. Glow plugs were checked and does not seem to be temperature related. Does start better after cycling to "Run" without starting several times, and will start fine if it was recently started. Hey everyone! A few weeks ago I had a message saying bad def quality. The check engine light came on. I scanned it and I had the two error codes. Now I had the message saying the engine will not restart after 200km. I emptied my tank def and filled it with new def and I still have the errors. Since it's out of stock, I was wondering if I could use a 2008 PCM, the parts number are different for sure (since not the same year) but the Manufacturer's (Bosch) number are similar (starts the same). Does anyone have any experience with the swirl valve (intake runner ) circuit on 2014+ WK2 Jeeps? I’m in New Zealand and I believe Australia/NZ versions dont have the addition position sensors on the intake manifold. Postion must be sensed inside the swirl motor assembly. Just turned 6000 miles on my 2015 Limited 4X4 purchased in December. Not one problem, actually look forward to driving my jeep during my commute to work. Mileage since purchased new 29.7 MPG. My last three tank fulls have been over 30 MPG, confirmed with mileage app and dash. Drive 90% freeway which includes commute traffic. After 4000 miles motor break in, milage increased one MPG. My 2014 Grand Cherokee diesel has averaged 29 mpg in summer and 27 in winter under the identical local runabout trips. Six weeks ago my dealer carried out the 66A recall. The cars performance since has been negatively effected. Automatic gear change ups tend to hang onto lower ratios.
