Need help!! Just over 210k and when driving down the road will shift into neutral or quit. Pull off to the side of the road shut jeep off and wait a couple minutes and start up again. Check engine light comes on and ABS light comes on. Had it into Chrysler 2x and they changed the star connector and ABS module. Got half way home and same problem. Took it to a reliable mechanic he changed the spark plugs,oil change,engine flush,cleaned variable timing solenoids by computer and cleaned throttle body manually all of the above costing $$$$$ Running out of patience and money. Hi folks, and greetings from Ireland. I'm posting in behalf of a friend in Canada who's not so Internet savvy so he asked me to help. He has a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee and is having problems with the command start in this fine winter weather. When he turns it on, the window heats. Great right? But no. The window heats, melts the snow and ice, which then runs down and freezes into a block of ice on the wipers. Is it possible to change the settings so that it only heats the engine and the cabin, but not the window? That way he doesn't get the ice block. Thanks in advance ..read more

Hey everyone, I have a 2023 grand cherokee, there seems to be a clear liquid dripping from the bottom near the back. There also appears to be a black mark as if it's burning. Hi all...new to the forum and hoping for recommendations for a Jeep mechanic in the Toronto or Hamilton areas. My GC is exhibiting an intermittent shaking at 70+ that cannot be explained by the dealership's technicians. Wheels are properly balanced and everything has been inspected by two different mechanics, but the problem remains. Hello all.....its time to replace my front seats (especially Driver's) since it has a tear as well. I have looked at putting covers on but because it is heated / cooled seats therefore that won't work. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas / suggestions on where to look. I might have to simply swap out the seats but brand new are too expensive and the dealer said that motor (or something) in the actual seat is not working properly since it doesnt cool as much and as fast as it used to. Hello all, I recently replace my Liberty with a 2015 Grand Cherokee. I wish to put a front receiver with a power plug on the Cherokee. I was hoping someone found a routing for the power cables to the winch. The Cherokee has the battery buried somewhere deep under the hood. there is a booster point and ground lug. It doesn't seem that these are useful to attach power cables. Anyone figured out how to get cables from the battery to the bumper front center? It was easy to do on the liberty. Hello All, Recently, due to Ooppss, I replaced my LIberty with a 2015 Grand Cherokee with the off road package. It came with the 18" rims with all season tires. Yep...they have to go. I was always believing the modest rims, say 15" or 16", with a good mud and snow tires, with tall rubber, were the best comprise. My liberty had P275 75R16 Bridgestone Dueller ATS with Revo 3. This Cherokee has 18" rims with really skinny rubber on them. So, what have you all found to be the best rim and tire combinations for the grand cherokee to have decent off road performance with some road manners? thanks ..read more

Horn issues with a 2005 grand Cherokee 4.7 . Headlight combo switch broke,so ordered a new one from standard, when I put it in and started to put the shroud back on the horn started and would not shut off . I pulled the relay to stop the horn. Any ideas on what I need to fix now? TIA ..read more
