Thought I'd introduce a newer addition to my "Rizingson Collection"
Back in the '60s, it was usually Honda leading the Japanese manufactures with new release styles and technical improvements, that added new customers to the fold, but Yamaha stole the motorcycle scene in 1968 with their unstoppable DT1 250cc Enduro. A design that quickly expanded into a new range of Enduros (dual sport bikes) that would be manufactured in all the popular sizes. They defined a new market for motorcycles...

I haven't visited the bike yet.... But in photos it looks in a pretty reasonable condition.
Needs a bit of TLC, But not much..... Considering it as a hobby to clean it up.
Looks all original..... No dents or scratches...... I am sure it needs a tune up....
( Valve design requires a service, IMO, due to the 'history' of the "Honda F-1 design ..read more

My first powered transportation was a Honda 50 in 1964 in southern Ontario and I LOVED my little 50. For practical reasons, I had to trade it for a 305 Superhawk a year later to safely travel highway speeds but I never lost my love of the 50. In my 30s I had a Harley for awhile but later sold it for financial reasons (ridiculously high insurance rates) and was bike-less for 20 years.
Earlier this week I picked up a 1962 Honda 50 for a song. It runs like a top but needs a lot of cosmetic...

I need your kind help and expert opinions identifying the motorcycle below, and anything else you can determine about the rider, location, time...
This image appears in the works of American visual artist Robert Rauschenberg. Its earliest appearance was in 1965, so the bike is older than that. The image is likely a tear out from a magazine.
I would like the make and model of the bike. Also its purpose, for example is it a racing set-up? Maybe you can tell me something about the rider via...

I'm curious to know of there's anything wrong with replacing the standard h4 halogen bulb with an LED? I like the idea of brighter light with less strain on the electric system but didn't know of any downsides ..read more

I'm currently looking at and considering buying an '82 GS1100GK that's been sitting in my neighbors garage for about 30 years. The bike has 35,110 miles showing on it. Its been sitting covered up, the carbs and fuel tank were supposedly drained when it was parked. (Both are bone dry now, the tank looks super clean). The tires look good but they are 30 year old tires. Its got two seats, the original, that was never used and a Corbin brand aftermarket seat. He's got all the keys, the original...

I have a prospector TC125 Suzuki and I', tired of injuring my foot when starting it. The problem is as my foot goes down my foot goes under the normal foot peg. The normal foot peg hits the top of my foot which gets painful. There just isn't quite enough room for my foot. I thought about shorting the kick start arm but it would have to be about 6 inches long and I'm not sure that would work. I tried folding the normal foot rest up but then the kick start lever won't go down all...
