New truck stop. Just built, on the site of a regular gas station that was bulldozed 25 years ago. I-57 exit 327 IL Has a dunkin donuts and Charley's Cheesesteaks and signs that say "restaurant space available". Inside, there's an upstairs loft area and supposedly a spa and a bar or something up there. For awhile I was working at Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store . I cannot tell ya how many times I've seen em load a shopping cart down with Chips Cookies, & Soda Pop then pay 4 that with a Food Stamps Card.. Now the Piggly Wiggly did not really care they got paid & made a "Profit" too . While I was scratching my skull like "WOW".. Allotta em brought their kids with em .. Sarah and I went down to her family's land in southern Illinois for the eclipse. The first half of the trip I was holding the minivan's steering wheel in the 10 o'clock position and getting 15 mpg at 70 mph because of the wind from the east, but strangely, 22 mpg if I slowed down to 65.
