I am looking to book a flight from Barcelona back to Boston in early 2025 following the completion of a Norwegian cruise around the Iberian peninsula. I want to fly in some sort of Premium Economy (not Business or First) so that seats are very comfortable for the long flight. The costs for a Premium Economy fare on a LEVEL airlines flight, operated by Iberia, appear to be significantly lower than all others I have found. I have searched for reviews of LEVEL on the internet and they seem... Read more ..read more

Trouble coming in the new year for FedEx Pilots if/when they lose the contract with the USPS for freight hauling and mail. Dropping below the minimum hours will allow FedEx to reduce head count and possible pay cuts per this article, as I have no idea what is in their contract language. Sad to hear after the holidays but it appears to all be around the USPS contract with FedEx... Now that's how to light a match under the companies arses to get them serious and focused on getting a deal done on time. Although I will add, that with the infrastructure demand bu consumers, businesses and even the federal government as well as our troops everywhere, counting so much on UPS and now with Amazon also being so big and involved with UPS as well, not so sure the fed gov wouldn't step in, if needed, to stop any kind of a strike becoming reality. Not even sure if they ever have... Read more ..read more

3 year extension is voted in at UPS for their Mechanics and related by 87% This is great news. 3.3% raises per year plus cost-of-living increases and pension increases. Not sure as of yet what the total all in rate will be until further info is released. This is an early extension since their contract is currently good thru Nov 2023. So nice to get it done and out of the way a year early as the operations will continue to run smooth and efficient. Congrats to all the UPS Mechanics and... Read more ..read more

Well, that was quick. After a little over a year after completing 8 of 12 open items, with only 4 left, they decide to file for mediation? Why so fast?? Give it an effort, at least. By going into mediation, the talks will get dragged out twice, if not 3 times as long. I wish them well, just seems like they filed with only a little over a year of nego's... Read more ..read more

CONGRATS to all the UPS Mechanics for getting a new contract extension for smooth sailing going forward. Pretty sure this new 3 year extension will get them to the $70 hourly rate at end of extension. If the majority is ok with a contract extension, then so be it. Hopefully we are looking at a contract extension as well... Read more ..read more
