The 7 Habits of Negativity
TO live a healthy, fulfilling life we need to learn to “let go” of negativity surrounding us. If you want to make 2024 a successful year negative thoughts and habits must be cut free.
These patterns hold people back and force us to remain in a mindset of being “stuck.” We tend to develop feelings of being “powerless” instead of “powerful.”
No problem, right? Well, not always. Identifying and determining what behaviors to let go of is often easier said than done. Being able to look in the mirror and honestly self-reflect on the good ..read more

And let’s be real, it feels good to look good. It’s time to trade in the sweatpants and your plaid button-down uniform and trade up for something more put together.  ..read more

Exploring The Loire Valley
IMAGINE you board a ship heading westward from Paris. It’s early morning when you depart, so you rest in the quiet belly of the hull. When you awake sometime later and head to deck, the sight that greets you is as shocking as it is magnificent. It’s a lush, green countryside dotted with renaissance castles, UNESCO heritage sights, forests, farms, and vineyards as far as the eye can see. They don’t call it the Garden of France without reason. This is the Loire Valley.
Home to kings, legends, unmatched natural beauty, and a diversity of wines not arg ..read more

Say Gerv? I want to take the family on vacation, but my wife overspends on dumb stuff. How can I get her to slow down so I can enjoy my time off on a beach instead of in my living room?
Vince, Belmont, MA

Let the kids know they’ll have to cut out the trips to McDonalds and eat at home. Tell the wife she has to cut her expenses down, so she can do what she loves to do on vacation, spending money. You’ll stop going to the bar o ..read more

Portrait by Jes Marie
THE scene opens on a girl adding final touches to her makeup in front of an old Hollywood style vanity mirror by herself in a dressing room when the crackling of a walkie-talkie interrupts the silence followed by a voice penetrating the air: “Crystaltina, we are ready for you on set.”
A solitary tear runs down her face which she quickly wipes away with her makeup brush. This was the moment I realized I had made it.
You see, dear reader, this is a core memory of mine that still feels unreal – it was the first time I got my own trailer on set for an ..read more
