Video Captures Bumpy Landing at Los Angeles International Airport
A Lufthansa Airlines Boeing 747 encountered some difficulties during its landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Tuesday, April 23, as reported by USA Today.
Video footage from the YouTube channel Airlines Videos Live showed smoke rising from the tarmac and the wheels bouncing upon touchdown. Following the rough landing attempt, the plane ascended again, flying briefly before completing a successful landing, which is known as a “touch and go” landing.

LAPD Detectives Investigating: Last Seen Near Del Rey Lagoon
The family of Fazlollah Elahi, alongside detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific Area, are seeking the public’s assistance in locating him after he went missing on April 22, 2024.
Elahi was last seen around 3:00 p.m. in the 100 block of 63rd Avenue near Del Rey Lagoon. Accompanied by his wife, Lucy Elahi, they had parked their white 2003 Toyota Prius with California license plate “5AWP524” at the location. Landslide More Serious than 1940s Slide, Involves Thousands of Rocks
Caltrans District 7 has updated the situation related to the closure of Topanga Canyon after this year’s heavy rainfall and the area’s latest and most serious landslide. In a press statement, The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) projects that the extensive landslide at post mile 1.8 on State Route 27 in Topanga Canyon will be cleared by fall 2024, pending favorable conditions.
