I became a vegetarian a few years ago for animal welfare reasons but continued eating dairy and eggs. My girlfriend said she had no issue with this change in my diet but said she would have an issue if I also cut out dairy and eggs. This is a chili recipe that I use frequently, rather than making mom's traditional chili, which takes much longer. I make this recipe in preparation for Sabbath. Hi, a few months back I bought a book, The Elimination Diet by Tom Malterre. I began the diet and experienced considerable improvement in symptoms I'd had for years, mostly around fatigue and digestion.
