Hi there:o I set up a ftp server, I can access it without problems using dolphin, all I need to do is specify protocol, ip address and port (ftp://192.168.178.37:4663) I try to mount with curlftpfs with this command: Code: curlftpfs 192.168.178.37 /home/user/test/ -o ftp_port=4663 and I get Code: Error connecting to ftp: Failed to connect to 192.168.178.37 port 21 after 5 ms: Connection refused Obviously my syntax is wrong since it tries to use the standard port 21 instead of 4663, I tried to put "-o ftp_port=4663" before my ip address and got the same error message any suggestions? thanks a ..read more

I'm playing with a little cloud server running ubuntu. The apps included in the control panel options are all https enabled all ready to go at the click of a button. But, I want a Navidrome server. Docker is disabled in the container/vm whatever, the navidrome binary works great and I have it up, running and playing tunes on my stereo at the moment. The issue is no https and I'm a little lost at this stuff, nginx seems popular but I think is docker only. I had been using Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS, installed off a USB stick, on my previous laptop. Now that I have installed the same Ubuntu off the same stick on my new notebook, I am unable to get network on this machine, even after rebooting in recovery mode and performing the "Get network" operation. Pavillion `14-ab166us (born date: 08.25.2015) had Windows 10 with a lot of free space. I shrank the windows partition and added U22.04. I am able to boot U22.04, but the ethernet and wifi will not reach the internet, so 'apt-get install' is not possible. The ethernet, when plugged into my newer router, does show a connection, but doesn't reach the internet. Plugged into an older router it doesn't even show a connection.
