So I was doing rotors and pads on the Bronco I just bought (new btw, hi everyone) and I was following a video to make sure I disassembled the hubs properly. Unfortunately it was the wrong video covering the manual hubs, not the autos. In doing so, after removing the actual hub assembly, I didn’t notice the locking clip after it and went at the lock nut with an electric gun, sandwiching and breaking this “splined spacer” in between the clip and the washer. Can anyone tell me where to get a...

Any idea what the squeak could be? Every time I start rolling, SQUEEK. Stop, SQUEEK. Go, Stop, Go- SQUEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK.
Replaced front springs with stock height Moog, new shocks, new bearings, brakes updated, etc.
The bushings out by the brakes were replaced on the TTB. Could this be other bushings?
I am planning on replacing the rear leaf springs, since I feel like the rear rides a little too low with weight in it.
It really sounds like it is coming from up front though.
I am assuming...

I’ve searched for days on every forum I can find and I’m at my wits end so here goes my first post.
My 90 Bronco 4.9L 300 (manual trans) started dying whenever the engine wasn’t engaged in gear which eventually turned into not idling at all. The day I had to rev up to 2k rpm at stoplights to get home was the day I started taking it apart. I followed Seattle’s write up for taking apart TB and IAC and freshened up everything. Left the battery unplugged the whole time (like 2 days) so ECM...

Morning FSB -
I'm seeking this forum's expert counsel and advice once again...
One of the first things I had to do on my rig was replace the ECM, bought a reman'd unit same PN from Auto Computer Exchange. 1 year warranty is about to expire in a month.
My factory ECM has been repaired to replace leaky capacitors and is about to be shipped back to me, and, assuming it works like it should, I'm left with a little predicament...
additional info: the guy who did the...

So, I think my ECM is fine. But, I pulled it because I wanted to make sure. Bought this rig from someone who was a hack.
Rig runs. Only issue is temp gauge always reads full , or almost full when warmed up. It's now working. I have a new Motorcraft temp sending unit coming in the mail. There was an alarm attached. Took it out.
Anyhow. I opened up the ECM and everything looks good to me. But, I am not too savvy when it comes to ECMs. I snapped a few pics. I was hoping y'all could take a...

Good afternoon gents.... I once again need your assistence with my 1979 restore project...
The rear drivers-side leaf spring hanger's bushing is swollen and rusted to the bolt going through it. I am at my wits-end trying to get this thing out. I've sprayed it with every
lubricant and penetrating fluid I own and it wont budge. I resorted to cutting it with an angle grinder and chizling it out the back and that hasn't worked either.
If anyone has ran into this problem or somethibg similar...

Seeking guidance, opinions, experiences & dreams. If money were no object what would any of you do to accessorize, modify, add, etc to make a 78/79 Bronco the ultimate off grid ride?
Exterior beeliner for paint, winch, roof rack, water/gas can storage, center console AR storage/lock, front grill guard, lights, and etc. Would be intrigued to hear all the different ideas.

I have a 5L 1996 Bronco. I loaned the thing to an employee. The engine is now blown.
He drove it after it overheated, 6 of 8 cylinders now have zero compression. Mechanic says the engine is toast. I am California (where smog test are a constant issue). The mechanic is saying $2700 for the engine and $6400 out the door. Where can I get an engine? What mods would increase low end torque and/or increase mileage? What would you do ..read more
