Possible Blade Issue

Hi All, We were up north and was able to have my kid do a Bauer scan this weekend and ended up getting her new skates. Well first practice yesterday she was struggling and complained about being able to stop and turn well. The only noticeable difference in the skate that we can see is the blade. The old skate had S. Stainless and the new one had LS Balance 13ft. She's been in the old skates for about a year so I would think that a change would initially be tough either way. Haven't... Hollow blade grind/sharpening

I've got a new pair of skates and am finding that they are not as stable in a straight line as my old blades. As well, I can't do a T stop in them, for the outer edge of the blade bites far too aggressively into the ice rather than slide. I know dull skates make T stops easy, but I'm assuming that the hollow from the factory, which is probably half an inch, has something to do with it. I would like to hear from others who have had similar experiences and if different hollowings (5/8" and... Hollow blade grind/sharpening ..read more

Hello, I need new skates. A little history: In the 90s I was a CCM Tacks guy. Then I seem to remember that in the early 2000s that either CCM went away or tacks went away temporarily I needed new skates around then. I tried everything but nothing fit. Vapors, Supremes, Graf, etc. I have a relatively wide forefoot, and a narrow heel. So what would happen is that to get a skate that my forefoot would fit into-my heel was swimming around. To get a skate that fit my heel properly-the toe area... Bauer Flexlite Pro 4.0 ..read more

I just recently purchased the Inhaler WM03 Mission roller hockey blades to replace my 20+yo Mission Proto VS’s. I have the super feet footbed in them and I took out the oem footbeds. The boots were killing me on my first pick up game and it was rather embarrassing because I spent more time off my feet than on the court. The blades were not baked before the first pick up and the outside of my blades were killing both feet. I took it to the shop on Tuesday to have them bake them but I have not... Hey guys. I currently have a Bauer apx 2, which I am sure is 4 years old. It's 100 flex. It's ok but my shot with it is dog turd. I feel like it's because the flex is too stiff. My next stick will be an 85. Right now it's between jetspeed ft4 (not pro) and vapor 3x pro (because they are on sale) Any advice? I am a higher level player with nice hands but my shot isn't great (it use to be ..read more
