Hey there! Testing out Yamaha's chord tracker app; super cool app you can load an audio file and it builds a chord chart. But if you're connected to a compatible Yamaha arranger keyboard (can't find an official list anywhere on what is/isn't compatible) you can also send the entire song's arrangement to the keyboard as a MIDI file (and even choose the default style to use). I recently acquired a Yamaha PSR-730, it works extremely well but I'm in the process of cleaning things up on it. Some of the graphics look burned into the screen. Its still readable at certain angles, but I'm curious if anyone here might either HAVE this keyboard for parts, a screen/display, or know where I might be able to get one. Hello. I have a Yamaha PSR-S750 and I love to play along with midi tracks I get on various websites. I will play the melody, but I also like to play chords with my left hand. Using the “Score” function on the keyboard I am able to see the melody notes and often, but not always, the chord names. Why can I see the chord names on some midis and not on others, and is there a way I can get chord names embedded in those cases? Any help would be appreciated ..read more

Probably just dreaming… I carefully select the perfect keyboard voice for a song and then export the song to a GarageBand MIDI track via USB cable. Unfortunately, GarageBand has few matching voice/instrument options. I am going to download as many new GarageBand instruments as I can find, but in the event that I still cannot find similar sounds, is there any way to convert Yamaha voices to GarageBand instruments? Hi, I use VoiceGuide in conjunction with my PSR SX700, and copying styles from a USB drive is a bridge too far as far as VoiceGuide is concerned. I can get someone to help who can touch the relevant buttons on the screen, but it would be most helpful if someone could give me a step by step guide as to what to do.
