We have a 2018 Bighorn 3970RD and after traveling home from Florida on some very rough interstate roads our auto level function wants to raise one side of the rig much higher than the other side. I'm thinking that possibly the sensor for the side to side level has come loose and is giving false readings to the system. Does anyone know where this sensor is located? I found the front to back sensor (I think) mounted high inside the front compartment but need help with the side to side sensor... Read more ..read more

Cut my hydraulic line

I cut my hydraulic line opening up my underbelly looking for a water leak. I am in Canada and my trailer is in Montana. I only have seen it once in over 2 years and want to get it fixed as soon as I am able to get over the border next month. It is parked in a very remote area. I am 90 mins from a decent size town. 1. See the type of 1/4” line I have. Pictured. I did buy, based on a post on here, a splicing kit but it does not work with this plastic type. Is there one available? 2... Read more ..read more

Dealer is unable to fix Lippert Level Up system! Originally I was unable to raise the two rear sets of jacks of the six point Lippert Level Up system on my 2015 Heartland Cyclone 4200. I called Lippert for technical support help. They emailed me a troubleshooting manual; was having freezing rain so honestly I lost interest after a couple hours LOL! I called my local RV dealership; they sent a technician out who called Lippert technical support and after an hour of diagnostic & wiring work... Read more ..read more

Leveling Jack goes Down but...

Have a 2015 Landmark 365 Key West with Lippert hydraulic leveling jacks. One jack, door side in front of tires, goes down when autoleveling. It will make contact with the ground and then seems to stick there. If the coach needs to rise a bit on that side, the jack does not go down any more - it stays at the same length resulting in it being off of the ground. I have tried leveling blocks under it thinking maybe it was maxed out and that doesn't change anything. Dealer has run tests for... Read more ..read more

I recently was in a flash flood. Water entered in the lower front of my rig, dropped the under belly, fortunately no damage. So to my point: If I wanted to override the leveling stabilizer, and lift the rig front and back to their highest point. (I.e) lifting the rig off the ground; how do I override the system? It on seems to allow me to lift the front and not the rear stabilizers. I’ve tried both control panels. Thanks David ..read more

Replacing hydraulic lines on slides

Greetings campers, My wife and I spent the winter in Arizona and when we headed back to Michigan I noticed that the slides were opening slightly. I closed all three valves and the only one that opened then was the offdoor slide so I just kept the tank topped off and made it home. Now I have dug into it further and found that it looks like pack rats have chewed the lines in the front compartment so it looks like the lines will need to be taken out and either repaired or replaced. Has... Read more ..read more
