ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The New York State Association of REALTORS, Inc. released the March 2024 monthly housing report. NYSAR stated that housing inventory dropped to a record low last month. The data NYSAR uses showed that the inventory of homes in the state dropped 14.7 percent from 28,060 units in 2023 to 23,924 units this year. Median sales prices saw a rise from $360,000 in March of 2023 to $380,000 in 2024. ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) —The New York State Association of REALTORS, Inc. released the January 2024 monthly housing report on Sunday. NYSAR stated that the interest rates dropped slightly from 6.82 percent in December 2023 to 6.64 percent in January 2024. The data NYSAR uses showed that the median price of homes went up 9.6 percent in January, rising to $400,000 which is an increase from January 2023's median of $365,000. ROCHESTER, N.Y.(WROC) — The Greater Rochester Association of Realtors released the 2023 final quarter housing market statistics. According to GRAR, the median sales price at the end of the year rose by 10 percent from 2022 with a total of $220,000 and there were fewer sales closed. ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A new report from the NYS Association of REALTORS shows that home sales continue to drop and prices continue to rise. According to the report, the number of new listings, sales, and days on the market decreased statewide by 1.5%, 13.7%, and 3.9% respectively. The number of homes for sale has dropped by 20.7%.
