Hello all, This is probably obvious already, but I just wanted to let everyone know that the Chicago Vintage Mustang Club - which was responsible for starting this "Chapter" room way back in 2002 - is no longer going to be using this space to announce events - unless possibly if it is something special. (Maybe our car show each year?) Anyone is still free to do so - but I will not be. As social media has changed, most of our club's discussions are now taking place on our Facebook group... Hello everyone, It's been forever since I have been on the site. I have an old cobra oil pan sitting in the basement collecting dust. Anyone local have any interest? Not sure on current value. No damage, just an old pan that I pulled off my 289 when I installed the 363. Thanks, Jeff ..read more

Hoping for a nice rainless show day. See you all there. I have some stuff to sell, so, if you need any of this, let me know and I'll bring it to the show: 67/68 Mustang 390 crossover pipe that goes from 2" at the manifold (stock 390 manifolds) to 2 1/4". Just a note; the stock Fomoco crossover is all 2" pipe. So, if you want to go with a larger piping, you can start here. $75.00 67/68 Mustang coupe/C'vert deck lid. No rust but, the lower rear lip needs some work. sept 1966... Autobahn CC show Sept 2023 ..read more

Why so quiet?

Hello all, Seems like there have been a few questions about why there is so little activity in here - are we still around etc... The answers are not so simple, but the fact is that the Chicago VMF forum was set up 20 years ago and we have morphed into also having an email and Facebook driven group in the years since. But I will commit to getting back into the habit of posting updates here too! Covid slowed us down in 2020 and we have been slow to recover some of the momentum we had... Why so quiet ..read more

Hi, Is there and active chapter in Chicago? I sent Jason an email a week ago and I have not heard back from him. I checked the website and it looks like it is from 2008 and the most recent photos are from 2013. I am just wondering if there are any 1966 Mustangs near me ..read more
