"Uriah Wolfenson + Meliora Honeychurch": Vibes?
Nameberry Forums
by Lily_Anarchkitty

For the record, I intend this pair as an “opposites attract” and “star-crossed lovers” type of couple, but what vibes does this pair give you? I want them to sound super cute on paper, which is why their names are so “flowery” (if that’s the right word for it?). (P.S: Uriah’s middle name is “Mendel” and Meliora’s middle name is “Diane”, if that helps at all.) 1 post - 1 participant Read full topic ..read more

Z names carry a fresh, flavorful array of sounds, backgrounds and meanings, so I thought I’d create a thread documenting all the Z names that can be found. To kick this off, [name_f]Imma[/name_f] go on ahead and list all of the Z names I can think of right off the top of my head: -Zephaniah. -Zephaniel. -Zane (one of my character names, actually!) -Zadie. -Zaire. -Zenobia. -Zachary. -Zachariah. Alright, that’s all for now! Keep them coming, fellas! 2 posts - 2 participants Read full topic ..read more

Rowan nn Rory?

I love [name_m]Rowan[/name_m]. I love [name_m]Rory[/name_m]. I don’t love [name_m]Rory[/name_m] as a stand alone name though, even though I know it’s a fully and well established full name - its always sounded nicknamey to me. So I wonder…does [name_m]Rory[/name_m] work as a nn to [name_m]Rowan[/name_m]? I noticed they both have red in their meanings, and they both have the strong RO beginning. But is it maybe still too stretchy? I’ve toyed with [name_m]Ronnie[/name_m] and [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] as nicknames for [name_m]Rowan[/name_m] as well, but I think [name_m]Rory[/name_m] might just be m ..read more
