Hi, all. First time here. I have a 2019 Disco HSE with ~ 85,000 miles.
Recently there is a loud metallic clicking when the vehicle first takes off, either forward or reverse. The sound seems to originate from the driver side rear. As the car gains speed the clicking becomes less noticeable and then goes away. I took it to a third party shop, that have been reputable with my vehicles in the past, and they weren't sure if it was the tires, brakes, or axle. The brakes needed to be...

2.5NA diesel, not in a Land Rover.
I need to reduce the amount of force it takes to open the throttle. I have a servo attached where the regular throttle pedal would connect, but there's too much force required to get past idle. Can I unwind the spring on the high pressure pump to reduce the force ..read more

Hi Land Rover 3.9L Vee 8 Owners,
I think I've done something very stupid to my '94 Defender 3.9L, and am asking for advise from these who understand electrics better than I or who have had prior experience. I had a jumper cable connected to the positive battery terminal and the other end inadvertently touch the body while the engine was running (at least this is what I think happened) because the engine just stopped running and will not restart. All I've done so far is confirm that it...

My business partner just purchased a 1995 110 with the V8 and 5 speed trans, I think he sourced it from SA.
Took it for its initial drive last weekend and it has developed an oil leak, he’s looking for a reliable rover mechanic in West Texas. Anyone know of anyone?
Also, where are you guys sourcing parts for these? Sorry, I’ve been out of the LR scene for awhile ..read more

I'm up to the fuel system on my 2.5na diesel build. All the parts came disconnected, so I'm working it out on the fly. I have 8mm hard plastic fuel line and union nut plq637. Are there olives between the fitting and the fuel pump/filter? Seems the nut is flared on the bottom, but not the direction you would think for an olive.
Also, what's the best way to form the lines? I've heard of hot water or a heat gun in conjunction with a tubing bender. I think I could do it with a piece of pipe...
