Over the span of my photography career, there is one particular thing I have grown to love and it’s taking couple night portraits. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, and during the process, many couples tend to joke they should just elope. Well, that’s exactly what Elaine and Nick decided to do – elope! Even when you decide to elope, in NYC you still have a similar process to follow in the fact that you have to get a marriage license and set a date. Bridgette and Sean’s engagement session took place at Stony Brook Long Island where they both grew up. We started their engagement session at the Stony Brook Village Center, where the Post Office made a great backdrop with its beautiful columns and clean white exterior.
