Hello all! We have a decent size garden with a decent chunk of grass. Over the winter certain parts have become rather bare (the path we walked when potty training our dog. I’m looking to repair these bare patches but I’m skeptical around throwing down grass seed with her Incase she eats it. We are going to be going away for around 4-5 days in 3 weeks and I am hoping to throw down some repair during that time however not sure if this will be long enough. Any advice on being able to... Hello fellow cat lovers! I hope this post finds you and your feline friends in good spirits. I'm reaching out to the community because I've noticed a common issue among cat owners, and I'm curious to hear about your experiences. Problem: Cats and House Plants Many of us adore our cats and enjoy having house plants, but it seems like the combination can sometimes lead to unwanted behaviors. Hello everyone. We will be removing this large cedar tree in late Jan and embarking on a backyard renovation. We currently have a KBG/PRG lawn and would likely go with a similar seed (or perhaps all KBG). Are there specific steps that this group recommends for preparing the soil after tree removal for new seed/sod? I've read to remove as much of the stump as possible and to... I got a basil plant a few months ago and it's been sitting in my very sunny kitchen window. I check the soil is damp every day and water it almost daily. The thing is the leaves are changing from a vibrant green to pale yellow. Is this natural now we are approaching autumn, or is it something I'm doing/not doing? I'm not a gardener but do like to use fresh basil, especially as it helps keep flies away. I'd welcome any advice, thanks. [ATTACH... What's happening to my pot of Basil ..read more
