I have two questions: 1. we just started planning a trip to June. seems all table dining reservations are sold out. realistically, can I check back every 1-2 days and eventually find something (like in Disneyworld) or does this pretty much mean we will not be able to get a spot? especially character dining. 2. which of the Disney hotels offer a room with a double sofa bed? we have two toddlers and we're always worry they will falls off the high beds so prefer a double sofa bed. We are... Read more ..read more

We've been to Disney in CA and Florida with our kids (4yo, 8yo). We will visit Paris (the city) with them for a short visit and wonder if it is worth it to dedicate one of the days to Disney Paris. The kids do not like fast/thrill rides. Are there enough non-thrill rides or experiences unique in Disney Paris to justify dedicating a day out of a short trip to Disney ..read more

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel this July and we have not booked any character breakfasts because we want to take advantage of Extra Magic Hour. Does the hotel have any quick breakfast items available? If not, does Main Street have something available during Extra Magic Hour? The last time we were there we stayed off-site with a free breakfast! Thanks ..read more

Walt Disney Studios at Disneyland Paris will be renamed Disney Adventure World when the new World of Frozen opens: https://thewaltdisneycompany.com/di...is new chapter, life, bordering a majestic bay. Given that there is very little in the park that relates to moviemaking other than the soundstage buildings and the entrance area (which will be revamped), this makes sense ..read more

I noticed when I went to purchase our tickets the price from the UK site was significantly lower than the US version. I thought I had seen this was something to be conscious of and to book through the non US site but I can't find the info and all that I'm coming across is over a decade old. Just hoping to confirm that if I buy tickets on the UK site I wont have an issue using them. Thank you for the help ..read more

Etiquette and customs in Paris/Disney

So, I am looking for differences from American culture to French culture. We are going to DLP in September.. I was reading a post where someone commented about pushy aggressive people in line at the Eiffel Tower elevator. From past experiences, Americans and Brits tend to queue up by custom, where other countries do not have such etiquette or social norms. It’s just different, not right not wrong just different. Line jumping is a big pet peeve of mine, so I am to prepare myself so I know... Read more ..read more

With the Olympics this year I expect more American and international visitors. When we had London 2012 London itself in the weeks leading up to, during and after saw a decrease in visitor numbers and a huge increase in prices. Although a different league nearby (comparrible distance of DLP to Central Paris) Theme park Thorpe Park saw a huge decline in visitor numbers even though it had a massive new investment from the ride SWARM. This was attributed to the Olympics. Other attractions... Read more ..read more

Canadian here. Have never been to DLP (or France). I have just found out that work is sending me to Lyon for a meeting that is taking place July 2-4. I of course thought - and my manager asked - "how far is DLP" and... well... now I am planning on adding on some days at my own expense and visiting DLP !! And when my sister, who lives with me and is my Disney travel companion, found out, she said "you are not going to DLP without me!". So apparently she is coming along on the trip ...
