I need to know how some of you guys combat your low energy levels from pcos because i cannot find anything that helps. i’m on spironolactone for my hormonal acne and spiro has seemed to help every hormonal issue for me except for my extreme fatigue. i’m only 19 and i love doing things like cleaning, working out and hanging out with my friends but my fatigue gets in the way of all of it and i can’t do anything but lay down all day. it’s honestly such a draining thing to live with because it’s something that i cannot control or push through. i have to spend everyday downing caffeine if i want t ..read more

Hi! I have been doing so much reading here on Reddit about pregnancy and having PCOS. It's been so nice to hear everyone's experiences I thought I'd share mine. I've have irregular periods since my period started and now, 37, I was diagnosed with PCOS last year. My cycles can be anywhere from 24 days to 40 days. Very rarely I've skipped, the most being 3 months. My boyfriend and I have been loosely trying for maybe a year now and just started my journey with the fertility organization called Kindbody helping us navigate our options. My ovarian reserve is above average, which is typical for so ..read more

White Hair at 25?

Anyone else start growing white hairs early? I have black hair, and I’m noticing white hairs popping up randomly. I’m not pulling them because I think they look cool. It’s not genetic; I already checked with my family. I know it could be vitamins, but my vitamins are fine. My stress has been through the roof but nothing more than I’m use to, so my last assumption is it may be PCOS related? Thoughts??? ? submitted by /u/little-demon- [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

As the title suggests-I’m thinking of giving this a go. My medication & supplement regime is getting a bit intense (and expensive!) so I was thinking of trying a pregnancy one to get more out of it>spend less money lol. Has anyone tried this? Would love to hear your experiences, both good or bad! submitted by /u/buffetforeplay [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hello all, 26F, I was diagnosed with PCOS 2 years ago. I understand both sides the lucky low symptoms side and the brutal cysts bursting side (my sister had this one). Thankfully the worst things I got were the unnatural hair growths (face, chest), insulin resistance, acne, horrid HORRRIIIDDD cramps. Anyways I've heard of people taking evening primrose oil supplements to help regulate out hormones. Has anyone tried it? Does it help? submitted by /u/penguinmarie [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi friends!!! Does anyone deal with really bad BO while trying to workout? It’s overall really embarrassing for me and I have been struggling in the gym because of it. I have always sweat really bad, but in the last 4-5 months I’ve noticed this overpowering musty smell. I shower twice a day, once in the morning and once after working out. I wear degree clinical deodorant because it’s the only one that seems to work and I still have to apply more than once a day. I have replaced all of my workout undergarments and am cycling out my workout clothes for new ones. I wash gym laundry frequ ..read more
