I'm wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to get hold of bluestreak cleaner wrasse in the UK that have a yellow top to their head, like many do in Indonesia (see images)
I've only ever seen plain blue/black/white ones here in the UK, but would love to get my hands on some with a yellow cap if possible!
Any ideas of suppliers/individuals with them would be super appreciated

I’ve had a clown since April and have had no real problems yet. This is my first marine fish so I’m still pretty inexperienced. This weekend, I was out of town so I had a friend feed him for a couple of days. Sometime while I was gone, the power went out causing the auto timer for my lights to shut off. I don’t know how long the lights were off, but no more than a day to a day and a half. I got home earlier today and I can’t tell if my clown is acting weird or if I’m just overthinking it. He...

Visiting family, went to this place in West Palm Beach called the cox science center.
Saw the strangest fish I've seen (not that I've seen too much anyway) but that white thing that looks like a cross between a small albino alligator and some fish is just nuts. Couldn't find a plaque identifying it.
Thought I'd share, and maybe someone can ID it.
Enjoy, and thank you ..read more

Hi,
I already have it planned - 3 clownfish with some sea anemone. Optional - 1 crown fish, rocks, and perhaps other things beyond my imagination.
I have a wide space of 70x60cm to put it in.
With that, I wish for as least manual water replacement as possible, if that's even possible... I was thinking of some automatic water filter to do the multiple maintenance jobs the aquarium needs...
Thank you so much for all the help!

I got a clownfish on Saturday and he has mostly just hung around one area of the tank. Often I will find him just sitting in his anemone like this. Is this bad? Is he just getting used to the new tank? Or is there another issue? Also, when I feed him, he’ll swim around and it eat but not swim straight to the top and get it from the surface ..read more

Today I finally got my first fish in my 10g (true percula clown) from LFS. Not long after I brought him home, I noticed some stringy white poop hanging from him. After some quick research, I found that this could be a parasite. Also, his face is slightly pale (still orange but not quite as vibrant as rest of body). Do you think this is a parasite? LFS said they feed the clowns mysis shrimp a few times a week which I know can produce similar white poop. However, I’d rather be safe than sorry...

A new species of wrasse with awesome colors was found in the Maldives. Although ‘twilight zone’ is questionable.

Hello. I recently noticed that my schooling bannerfish started to turn black in the front of his face. I also suspect that he’s going blind, because his eyes look black/cloudy, he doesn’t see food, and sometimes bumps into fish. He also doesn’t run away from me when I come near the fishtank, as he usually did before. He was also always the first one to eat the food when it would drop, now he’s lucky to even get one piece by accident. Please advise me on what I can do, he is my favorite fish...
