Decided to make a post to keep my breeding journey fails and success. Changed and finished up my broodstock system originally had 1 pair breeding in a 40 breeder that I was using as a frag tank found it fun/ exciting to see all the different patterns that come out also not to get into detail but it’s helped me out personally, it is a lot of work and time consuming but I find it relaxing. So I shut down the frag tank and planned to build a system specifically just to breed. Took a while but...

I have eight day old clown fry and have a question about feeding frequency. I am confused on how often to feed. Do you think baby brine three times a day and rotifers three times a day is enough? I am so used to continually feeding that I am not sure how to approach feeding as they get bigger/go through metamorphasis. Thanks ..read more

My Bangaii have just recently started to breed however within a few days of the male holding the eggs I believe he eats them( maybe spit them out but don?t see any in the tank ). Does the male have to mouthbrood or can I steal his eggs and place them in a egg roller? Is there a learning curve in the male being a better parent it?s his second time.
I feed twice a day flakes/frozen mysis/BS.
Thanks ..read more

1) Phytoplankton to feed rotifer and/or commercial Rotifer food to feed rotifer
2) Rotifer to feed larvae
3) Rearing tank and the related equipment such as air pump, light, sponge filter
4) Feeding procedure and technique
To raise larvae, you must have #1 &...
