Clownfish are probably the easiest marine fish to breed and successfully rear to adulthood. The same principles should apply to most Clowns and Damselfish who do not scatter their eggs. hi guys, I need some assistance with finalizing my design for a clown breeding set up. If there are any members that can assist with a diagram/sketch of what I am looking to do pls help as I may need to send a sketch to the tank builder. Just picked up 4 different styles of clay pots from stodels and was wondering which you guys think would work best for breeding clowns. Pros and cons as I can see: 1) has an opening of 15cm diameter but drain hole is large - 30mm. Depth of pot 13cm 2) has 4 slits on sides which can be used to insert airline in various places on hatch night.
