A new study reveals women in their 20s have had a 45 per cent increase in breast cancer diagnoses since 1984.  The study was conducted by the Canadian Association of Radiologists Journal and utilizes data over the last 35 years from the Canadian Cancer Registry and National Cancer Incidence Reporting System, both part of Statistics Canada.  The study found there’s been a 12 per cent increase for women in their 30s and a nine per cent increase for women in their 40s since 1984.  Globally, breast cancer cases have increased by 20 per cent since 2008. Metrolinx is warning passengers never to cross train tracks as a video of a large crowd of Toronto commuters doing just that goes viral. Political leaders are speaking out after British Columbia revealed it’s stepping back on its drug decriminalization just over a year into its program.  The pilot project was launched in Jan. 2023 and exempted those in possession of up to 2.5 grams or less of common street drugs such as cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, and MDMA.
