Tonight I was rereading some parts of Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. I needed some encouragement so I normally pick up one of my many self-help books to get my mojo back. Man, it’s been a year since I did this! I don’t even know if I still have readers but here we are. I think the last one I did, I said I wanted to have a new CD done by this time. MAN!!! It’s been two years since I wrote a post! All that’s happened is just really astounding. Not with my music career or anything… That shit is pretty much back to square one. With COVID-19 just barely loosening it’s grip I’m just now able to start doing gigs again. I have also realized that I need to record some new music. Obviously, it’s now September. Hey people! I have a new song. It’s not Miss Mini and Pressure Point though. This one is a southern soul song I was working on before there was a Pressure Point! It’s called “Ride” and it features Black Zack. Now, when I came up with the idea for the song, I knew it needed a verse of rap in it. Well I decided to head down to North Myrtle Beach for a couple of days to enjoy the S.O.S. activities and see some old friends.  My trips to NMB are always go, go, go….. I get exhausted every time because there is so much to do and I don’t want to miss anything! I spent most of my time hanging with Jim Quick and Coastline.
