Dreamville Fest will return to Raleigh’s historic Dorothea Dix Park for its fourth year April 6-7, following last year’s event that drew over 100,000 attendees over the two-day weekend.

Following the release of his ninth studio album, Insano, Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum artist Kid Cudi has announced a massive world tour, coming to Raleigh’s PNC Arena on July 11. The tour stop in North Carolina will feature Pusha T and Dreamville’s EarthGang with Jaden (Smith), Chelsea Pastel, and Siena Bella in select cities. This is the first time Cudi will be performing in North Carolina since the Passion, Pain, & Demon Slayin’ Tour (Red Hat Amphitheater) in 2017.

Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit have announced new tour dates in 2024, with three stops in North Carolina this year. Isbell and his band, the 400 Unit will perform in Charlotte at Ovens Auditorium on September 5 and two nights (September 20-21) in Durham at DPAC with alternative roots rock act, Alejandro Escovedo. Additionally, Isbell and the 400 Unit will play Asheville’s Rabbit Rabbit on August 13 with Adeem the Artist.

Tuck Fest, the free multi-day festival at Whitewater Center celebrating outdoor lifestyle, has announced their 2024 music lineup. The three-day event taking place April 19-21 will be headlined by Aussie rocker Courtney Barnett, country darling Margo Price, and bluegrass/Americana band Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway. Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós have added eight tour dates in 2024 with the 41-piece Wordless Music Orchestra. The tour will make one stop in North Carolina, coming to Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC) on September 28. Performing songs from their latest album, ÁTTA, released in 2023, they’ll also cover their expansive eight-album catalog on tour.

Known for their high-energy concerts and festival performances, Kentucky rock band Cage the Elephant has announced a 2024 tour with two dates in North Carolina: Raleigh on August 3 at Coastal Credit Union Music Park and Charlotte on March 4 at PNC Music Pavilion. Following the announcement of her sixth studio album, Deeper Well, set to be released on March 15, pop country star Kacey Musgraves will hit the road for an international tour, coming to Charlotte’s Spectrum Center on December 5. Indie dream pop band Cigarettes After Sex have announced 2024 tour dates along with a new album, X’s, set to be released July 12 through Partisan Records. Following the release of the new single, “Tejano Blue,” the Texas shoegaze band have unveiled domestic and international dates that kick off in June (Bonnaroo) and culminate in 2025, making one stop in the Carolinas (Raleigh on September 11 at PNC Arena).
