Every year, this is one of my favorite days. Ballard lets his scouts answer questions about the draft class. They answer so many questions that Ballard doesn’t have time to do. And the answers are so revealing because they’re coming from the scouts perspective and not the GMs view.
There are two separate videos on the front page of the website. BUT…. Only one is listed. The one with scouts McGaha and Hughes. It’s 11:30. But immediately after that one is done the next one plays. So don’t be fooled, the second scout video IS there, even ..read more

Archer ... with a total of 5 points for nailing perfectly the Jaylon Carlies pick at #151.
Congrats!!
The only other person to perfectly hit on a player for 5 points was Solid84 for picking Tanor Bortolini at #117, but he was deducted a point for predicting a trade back, which was wrong. Ohhh nooo!!!
Other shout outs go to jvan1973 and PureLuck, who both got 2 players right, but in the wrong slots.
I think it was Latu that threw us all off. We never thought we would get him and I think it affected all the picks after that resulting in our worse predictions collectively for the past 25 years of ..read more

Jim Irsay seems to indicate the Colts are looking to trade for Harrison Jr. This would be a potential watershed.

Now that the Saints are open for business would you trade for Lattimore? Say we give a 2nd and a 5th for him, his cap hit for 2024 is only 14.1mil with an out in 2025. You could restructure based on his play and go from there.
This then gives us a solid shut down CB and a solid vet presence. His cap hits for the next two seasons are 31mil in 2025 and 28mil in 2026. Add a year and you could make the cap hits more favorable if you do restructure.
What are some thoughts? Are. There other players on the Saints roster you would want ..read more
