Hi Backstory: I tried the transformer mod and the results are documented here https://www.avforums.com/threads/kef-psw2010-sub-transformer-mod-problems.2490802. The result of that mod wasn't satisfactory (details in the other thread), so I gave up and tried the resistor mod instead. The schematics I have show the values of R143/144 as 100 ohm 2W and R141/142 as 2K2 2W. If you put these values into voltage divider calculator, the Vout is 47.8V. My Epos M-Sub 300w refuses to turn on I've replaced the internal fuses but as soon as power is turned they blow again, its an old sub so I don't see as it would cost effective to fix which brings me to what would be a like for like replacement or slight upgrade the cheaper the better. Hi Just got home from work and had Edge of Tomorrow on BD arrive. Put it in the player and sat down. The low bass on the DTS HDMA track in the first 20/27 seconds of the movie is MASSIVE. So much so that in my 15 years of owning an M&K sub I have never seen the MK badge on the grill move so much.
