I have been agonizingly going back and forth as to whether I should shell out the money for a PSA.
There are 2 things mainly going on:
#1. My lease is up in August. and right now I have a good space for this, so I feel a little bit of a time crunch. Who knows whether I find a space with as much room
#2. I don't REALLY need it, but it is at a price that I couldn't normally get it at.
Financially, I could handle it.. but.... i don't really need it. PSA wouldn't match my other sub (i...

So the setup is two subs (PSA TV1813) placed in front left corner and back right corner (i.e. opposing corners). Room is 14.25' deep and 12' wide. Measurements below show that I'm getting variation from ~45-75Hz as I move the mic right and left of the MLP (ignore the SPL; these came from an Audy calibration). What's the best way to smooth out this region? Another TV1813m is probably a no-go because of space. Could a smaller sub targeting this region help? Anything I can do from a room...

I’m limited in space and can fit these two subs in my living room, RSL Speedwoofer 10S and the Monolith V2 10”. I was thinking of pairing them with my Denon X4500H and figured I’d get the best of both worlds between the two with good music bass response and deep bass movie response. What say you? Hi,
I've recently realized that my current subwoofer just isn't cutting it, to have any impact I'm turning it up to the point that for deep bass it chuff's. I'm thinking a second subwoofer may be in order due to the size of my room. I'd prefer to spend less than USD $2K for something with an integrated amplifier. I'm attaching some drawings of the space, looking for some advice on a) what to get and b) where to place it. I was thinking either In the front-right of the room, or in the back...

"Sub EQ HT is a method we came up with to deal with multiple subs."
"The idea is to first measure each sub separately, then apply delay and level settings so that the two subs are now time and level aligned."
"Then we ping them once more as "one" sub to derive the room correction filter."

All,
Building a house and one of the subs for the theater room is supposed to go in this cubby that is 57” by 24.5” deep. The depth has me stumped a bit, I’m leaning toward trying to get the new HSU subs when they come in stock, but welcome any suggestions. Trying to keep it under $3kish for two.
Edit - room is about 1200 square feet total, one side open so including the broader space ..read more

So, two days ago, my wife and I bought a Klipsch SPL-120 to replace our old Pioneer SW-8MK II (which nearly caught fire, but that's a different story). I haven't experienced the chuffing that so many people talked about, however Im sure my overall listening volume is too low to make it prevalent. So far, we love it, but I felt like I wanted to say something to anyone who may be just entering into the world of high end audio equipment, just as my wife and I are doing right now. And, please...

In a room that is 24x15x10 feet, I am considering using a pair of Rythmik Audio F12G for $1400 each in piano black with RCA LFE in or XLR in and one PSA Audio 2112M for $2000. This is pretty much my budget limit. I might spend a little more if I had to, but would much prefer to spend a less. This is combo theater/music room. I watch movies 70% of the time and listen to music 30% of time. The audio for the music is much more important to me than the theater. What is most...
