I've had 3 of my cory for over 6 months now and the newest 2 are nearly as big as the parents already. I've seen the results of 5 spawnings already but have not much of a clue as to how to sex the cory as yet. I have a spare 5 gal tank with filter and heater that I could use to raise the fry and I'm thinking of using it to start breeding them for my daughters' interest. Hi all. My Cory Sterbai spawned last week in community tank. I removed all plants with eggs that I could see and was surprised to find I now have 150 fry or so. They are so small. What is the best way to feed these little dudes. I am using eggyolk and fine powdered food. I still have them in a floating jar and they seem fine/ lost a few overnight but not bad. I have been trying to breed my peppered cory's. I have lowered the temp by a couple degrees and have been feeding them bloodworms. I recently got some cories.I have three bronze and one albino,who is much smaller than the bronzes.I have a question on breeding.Two of the bronzes follow each other around.I am not sure if they are male,female,or even in spawning mood.What signs should I look for if they decide to spawn?I know of the T formation,but not sure how to look for that.Also,how soon after spawning does the female wait to lay the eggs,and when laid,are they in a group or scattered about everywhere?Do they guard... Matae Corys breeding? We have about 5 matae corys, 3 zebra dainos, 3 red eye tetras and 5 zebra snails in a 10 gal tank. We found white little dots all over rocks, our drift wood and some plants.
