Picked up a couple of new ones today at the Repticon in Dallas. The Nhandu chromatus wasn't interested in being seen this afternoon, but I did get a look at her this evening after lights out. Too dark for a picture, though. The Harpactira pulchripes was a little better but is pretty tiny at the moment ..read more

Hi there!
I got my son 2 scorpions for his birthday (which is today! The 15th) and we're trying to see if we can figure out the gender. I've had them before a very long time ago, but never tried to figure out the sex. I know males have longer 'feathers' underneath but man, I am having a hard time figuring it out, especially with not having experience in telling the difference. Anyone want to give it a shot?
I only have a picture of the one right now, but im going to try and get better pics...
