G'day guys, just wondering if anyone has experience with the Garrett Deepseeker A.D.S or similar with fixing audio issues. I'm getting nothing at all. Seems to have power being sent all over the board, transistors seems fine, I have recapped the main electrolytics as they seemed a little puffy and leaky, but still nothing from the speaker or headphone jack. Hi All, I've got a sea hunter mark 2 that has never been used but was working on first unpacking and test. I stupidly left batteries in and some corrosion has taken place and it is not longer working. Garrett tell me the unit is nitrogen sealed and will have to be posted to US for repair. Australia do not have the facility to reseal. No issues with this really but cost of postage and repair might not really be worth it. Seems a shame for it to go in the bin and not be repaired... As many of you are aware, I very recently gave up on gold prospecting (for good) mainly due to logistics and lack of finds, so I've just purchased myself a new Garrett ACE 400i to hit the local parks with the young fella. You can buy a z link receiver that will allow you to tune in any Bluetooth system to the axium will cost you about 160 bucks hope this helps you out ..read more
