It is that time of year again for the CraftNovaScotia Craft Show to take place. The dates are Nov 17-19, 2023, being held down at the Halifax waterfront at Pavilion 22 Leave Your Hat On is going to have a whole new selection of Spencers and various shapes and colours of felts. Well, its not happening like that today. While eating breakfast, cereal, I had a sharp pain on my back tooth. I kept eating as one does. Then I happened to rub my tongue over the back tooth and low and behold, half of my tooth is gone! So, my dentist isn't open today, being a holiday. I'm a tough gal thou. The show must go on. Today is Dec 31, 2021...What a year. I don't want to say that it was terrible, but I also don't want to say it was not terrible. I think all I'm going to say is bye bye 2021 and am looking at 2022 with a bit of a better positive wish. I know it will not be the same as it used to be, but I don't think it should be the same as it used to be. I'm going into this new year with positive strength and happy thoughts. Well, after many days of placing hats around the studio, cleaning and many many posts promoting the Open Studio, it finally happened. The turnout was small but over all I had a great day and I hope the visitors did as well. I think I could get used to doing this a lot more! I met some very nice people who were interested in hats and I think we could have spent the day talking and trying hats on all day! Lets keep our fingers crossed that I can do this again in the fall. Open Studios are back! I will be posting when the Studio will be open. Mostly Sundays every month, till November. (I will be attending the Craft NS Christmas show this year! Well, what a year its been. I won't spend time re-hashing what has happened this year, so lets just say its been eventful.
