Marsha J. Certain, M.D. It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Marsha J. Certain announces her passing on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at the age of 69 years old. Dr. Marsha Certain was born on November 18, 1954, in Rochester, Minnesota, to the late Mary Virginia and Hurley D Jones. In 1964, Marsha and her family relocated to Brunswick, GA, where Marsha’s father began his cardiology career: a move that would prove pivotal in inspiring Marsha’s future aspirations and passionate career. Michael Allen Harlow Michael Allen Harlow, 66, of Townsend, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, GA. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was a long-time resident of Townsend in McIntosh County. He was a retired member of the US Army – which brought him to Fort Stewart, GA – where he met his future wife, Faye. Brunswick cardiologist killed in murder, suicide incident A Brunswick doctor was murdered Thursday, April 17, at her Wayne County property by her boyfriend, who then took his own life, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said. Deputies responded Thursday night to property owned by Dr. Marsha Certain on Buffalo Road, near the Glynn County line, when they were informed by a family member of Certain’s boyfriend that he was threatening to kill himself, said Wayne County Chief Deputy Mike Hargrove.
