Campground Review Margaritaville RV Resort website Address: 7650 Lanier Island Pkwy, Buford, GA 30518 Getting to the campground – we did run into some problems getting to the campground when it was dark. We lost service and there are not many road directions to get to the campground. You will want to drive straight through the round-a-bouts do not turn right, do not go all the way around and turn left. Can you take an RV there? Yes! This area is big rig friendly. That means you CAN take a bigger RV down to the shore and have enough room to turn around to leave. We drove our 45ft 5th wheel down to the shores and did not have any problems. Now if you see a hill that looks like a road do NOT take your RV up it. Those are for the ATV’s to drive on.
