My music is tonal and highly melodic, and has its own unique style. It's difficult to assess your own music, but I often hear it described by others as peaceful, reflective, thoughtful and beautiful.

I've uploaded on YouTube and on this site a new video of an old composition, In The Breeze. This is a piece I have come back to often since it was first written about five years ago. I enjoy its constantly evolving gentle melody and its feel of drift and spiralling. Every time I revive it I play it a little differently and find new ways to move around the sometimes tricky positional shifts.
I've also made a few improvements to my sound and video set-up, using a Fujifilm camera and a Zoom F6 recorder with a pair of Warm Audio WA14 mics.

"Two Rivers" is a vivid melodic piece in D major with a dropped D tuning. It has strongly folk-influenced themes giving it an Arcadian English folk/Renaissance revival feel. The melodic ornaments and decorations make it great fun for the player. It also has a few distant echoes of the jazzier folk revival fingerstyle guitarists of the 60s and 70s - Jansch, Renbourn et al. There's also a little of the Tarrega school in the piece, particularly in the connecting passages.
