Officials with the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles announced a $13 million gift for its new North Campus.
The donation from The Otis Booth Foundation is the largest private gift dedicated to the Natural History Museum in Exposition Park in its nearly century-long history, officials said.
The money will go towards the creation of a glass entrance pavilion for the museum. The three-story entrance will be named the Otis Booth Pavilion and will connect to Exposition Boulevard via a pedestrian bridge.

Inova Health System has received a $20 million gift from the Peterson Family Foundation, the family behind the Peterson Cos. real estate development firm, the Falls Church-based health system announced.
The gift will be split, with $15 million dedicated to the Inova Life with Cancer program and $5 million to the expansion of Inova Fairfax Hospital’s emergency room. The Pagidipati family donated $50 million to the Tampa-based healthcare provider, according to BayCare. This is the largest publicly recorded gift to a hospital in Tampa Bay and one of the largest gifts to healthcare in Florida.

Montana State University will break ground this month on a new building, Gianforte Hall, that will house the Gianforte School of Computing.
The three-story building was made possible by a $50 million gift from the Gianforte Family Foundation and is expected to open in 2026.

With help from an historic $101 million donation, Montana State University is constructing five new buildings across the state for nursing education to help provide health care and meet the need for more nurses.
The buildings will be at each of MSU’s five campuses — Billings, Bozeman, Great Falls, Kalispell and Missoula.
