So when our beloved dachshund, Gatsby died suddenly in October at over 12 years old we thought maybe we’d take a break from the responsibility of dog ownership for a few years. Well, yeah, that didn’t last long. On Sunday we brought home our new little pup, Milo! We even got to visit him and his brother and sister 3 weeks ago. Traveling during a pandemic is not so fun. Traveling with twins is never fun. But seeing my family is always fun so we ventured to Bermuda to celebrate Christmas and got stuck in Covid Quarantine, luckily no symptoms- only tested positive on the mandatory testing. Although social events and travel have slowed down during the pandemic- life doesn’t stand still. I had the pleasure of photographing this little lady, only three weeks old. Of course plenty of corona safety measures were in place to protect the baby and her family. That meant mask on, lots of hand sanitizer, keeping my distance and allowing the parents to wrap and pose the baby on my direction to avoid any direct contact.
