(March 21, 2023) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists roundabout construction at the intersection of KY 229 (mile point 7.673) and KY 1189 in Laurel County starts Monday, April 10. On Monday, March 13th, all of Congress was called to an emergency Zoom meeting to discuss the bank failures that occurred on Friday and Sunday and how the federal government needed to respond to prevent a run on the banks and the collapse of the U.S. banking system. On Monday, the City of London paused for a moment to honor two fallen heroes, Lt. Travis Hurley and Sgt. Logan Medlock, both of the London Police Department. Organizers of a new children's museum in the City of London are hoping to open their doors on July 1, 2023. The London Children’s Museum will be located in a 5,270 square foot space at 100 Bacho Way, the Center Target Shoppes.
