Hello everyone! I hope you all have enjoyed watching the puppies on the puppy cam! I love watching them on it and I live here! It sure is handy when we are not home though and want to check in on them. Right now there isn't much to see, as they mostly just eat and sleep, but as of just a few days ago they are starting to interact with one another and are learning how to play. Today I noticed them "sitting" for the first time, which really makes them look like dogs and not just little balls of fur! Quincy continues to be a huge helper with the puppies and loves to sit on the couch and snuggle t ..read more

Bailey's Birth Story

Yesterday morning around 9:00 AM I noticed Bailey seemed to be breathing a bit heavy. This can be a sign that labor is near, so I took a video and sent it to a fellow breeder and said "I think Bailey might be in labor, I bet we will have puppies tomorrow" Typically when Ellie would start this phase of labor it would last a full 18-24 hours before a puppy would appear. Within a few minutes Bailey progressed into panting and not seeming able to get comfortable. I decided I better get her whelping box prepared and got some towels together and our birthing equipment. I brought her into the room wh ..read more

Guardian Homes

Today I'd love to shine some light on our amazing guardian homes! A guardian home gives us the opportunity to grow our breeding program, but still have each of our dogs live in a home environment and get plenty of attention. We have four dogs at our house that live with us full time. Ellie, Bailey, and Jolene are our Australian Labradoodles, and we also have a 7 year old cocker spaniel named Melinka. We dont have the time, resources or ability take on any more dogs at our house, especially because we live in town, so because of that, we place any of our future breeding prospects into a guardia ..read more

The puppies are growing so much! They are now pro's at eating and drinking and are still learning how to use their potty matts! The puppies will turn 6 weeks old on Thursday and will get their vaccinations, 3rd round of de-worming, and micro-chips! After they are vaccinated they will now be able to go outside! We will then start working with them on outdoor potty-ing and socialization outside of the home. The puppies coats and personalities are really starting to show, but our families are still having a hard time deciding who they think will be the perfect fit for their family! Although with ..read more

Yesterday we made a trip down to my parents farm in Muscatine. They live about an hour away. The puppies, aside from a little whining in their kennel, did very well on the trip down! We had lots of visitors come see the puppies! We had at least 15 people come out to visit and play with them, and the puppies had a great time following the kids around in the yard. They do very well coming when they are called! And love to play "follow the leader". Today they have spent most of their time sleeping on our cool kitchen floor, I think they are worn out from all the fun yesterday! Ellie had some grea ..read more

Sunny + Eros Birth Story

At 5:30 AM, I'm awoken by the sound of footsteps padding across my floor, I think it's most likely my son who ventures into our bed most nights, so I don't open my eyes. But then, I hear a little voice say, "Momma! Sunny had a puppy, in my bed!" I bolt upright and wake up my husband, he sits up dazed and confused, and I repeat again to him, "Sunny is having puppies in Quincy's bed!" Quincy pipes in, "Yeah - but don't worry, I made sure the puppy was out of it's sac before I came down!" Bless her, you can tell she's been raised in a dog breeding household most of her life. Que a mad rush to get ..read more

Yesterday was Remi's due date. This is Remi's 3rd and final litter. All three of her litters were sired by our boy Max. After Remi + Max's first litter, and seeing how incredible their puppies were, we decided, 'why mess up a good thing?' We have been pleased as punch with each of their litters, and this is no exception! Remi + Max first litter: And their second litter: Remi and Max are both mini's, so we expect their puppies to be around 18-23 lbs at maturity. All puppies come home with a two year health guarantee, they are vaccinated, microchipped, de-wormed, and health checked by our vet ..read more

Our Whelping Room

In 2019 we sold our house and traveled the United States in our bus for two years with our children. We visited 37 states and had an amazing time. But as our kids got older, we decided it was time to buy a house. One of the qualities we were looking for in a house, was space to raise our puppies. When a house in Cedar Falls IA went on the market, and I saw the huge bonus room it had, I knew we had to have it. We put an offer on it that same day, and officially moved into it in April 2021. Our house used to have an indoor pool. It has an attached room that is 1,000 sq ft and absolutely perfect ..read more

Second Dog, Yay or Nay?

After getting their first dog, many dog owners contemplate if it would be a good idea to get a second. Some of their worries include, 'will it be fair to our first dog?' 'Do I really want to do potty training all over again?' 'Are we financially prepared to care for two dogs?' 'We had such a good experience with our first dog, we're nervous we might not get as lucky the second time around' All of these are good things to consider, but after asking other two-dog owning families what their experience is, here is what they had to say about their Australian Labradoodles, Things to consider when a ..read more

Traveling the US with Puppies

Have you ever seen those families that travel around the Country full time? I follow a few families like that on Instagram, and I've aways envied them. I thought to myself, if they can do it, why can't I? I got myself really excited about the idea of traveling around to the different National Parks in our country and photographing all the beauty the United States has to offer. I was researching locations and deep in my daydream, when I suddenly remembered two small roadblocks. I have four kids and own a dog breeding business. So, my plans of traveling around the country seemed like an impossib ..read more
