One of our many goals this year is to get some titles on Waffles and Boyka. Waffles achieved his Trick Dog Novice through Do More With Your Dogs last year. This year's first title for Waffles is his AKC BCAT. This title is a Fast Cat title. He earned 150 points running 100 yards over 6 runs to get his title. This was Boyka's second donation to University of Pennsylvania's canine blood donation program. We are happy to have another dog from our program contribute to a great cause. Kym is always so pleasant and great with the dogs. We are hoping to get Yatzi back out to contribute again later this year. One a whim, I decided to enter Turnout in the Westminster dog show. Since he isn't a top show dog, it was hit or miss if his entry would get picked. To my delight, his entry was accepted! Next step was to talk with his family to see if they were not already booked for a trial and would be ok sending him to NYC. We all decided to take the road trip to NYC to attend the Westminster Kennel Club show in Flushing (Queens), New York. Turnout was one of 18 Cane Corso entered. Last week Turnout and his mom and dad traveled to upstate New York to compete for his advanced tracking title with the Schutzhund Club of Buffalo. We are ecstatic to announce they passed with a 97 out of 100 points!!! Almost a perfect score in the rain! Dominic and Turnout never ceases to amaze me with what they achieve. As I have said before, and I will say again.....I am not good at remembering to update the blog! Well since Ziva's birth there has been more good news! Ziva, now known as Stella, has settled in well with her new family. I am super lucky since they live close and I get to see Stella often. :) We said goodbye to two PrideNJoyz dogs in the last few months. We said goodbye to Crickett. She was the sweetest Corso. Wow, it has been quite some time since my last post! Sadly, with all of the dog events cancelled since March, it has been pretty quiet here. It was very disappointed the the Canada trip to visit with the new Brinks x Wicca puppies was cancelled too. On a bright note...I am very happy to announce that Turnout aka PrideNJoyz Fear is Not a Factor finished his AKC Championship in March! Omen (Cavi x Winna litter) attended his first puppy dog show! The PrideNJoyz dog families have been busy! This month Hampton earned his CD in obedience....! And Turnout passed his therapy dog test ! On Sunday, November 6, Dominic and Turnout (Pridenjoyz Fear is not a Factor) accomplished the first goal of their tracking journey. We have received a lot of messages about upcoming litters and availability. We do keep our website up to date we cannot always provide exact dates/times of future litters We are happy to announce that we will be breeding Yatzi by the end of August. If everything works out, we can expect puppies around the end of October. We have decided on a stud and will announce it once puppies are confirmed.
