I am really excited about today’s project, as it’s something I had been looking forward to designing and building for quite some time. Today I’m sharing my DIY record player table with you! Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Kreg. All opinions are my own. I teamed up with Kreg for this build, and you can find the build plans and full tutorial over on their site. As for the details, I added prefabricated legs to this record player table and a pretty, modern brass drawer pull for the drop-down compartment door. I added a drop-down compartment because quite frankly I absolutely hate building ..read more

I built a tool caddy a while back, and this time around I needed something a little bit smaller and lightweight. I also wanted to add a fun little design detail, so I created this fun little DIY stenciled tool tote. I’m teaming up with Kreg to share build plans and a full tutorial for this project over on their site. As usual, I used my Kreg Jig 520PRO to build this tool tote. I love it because it’s user-friendly and portable. I used a vinyl cutting machine to create the tool decals which I used as stencils. I applied them to the tote along with a diagonal strip of painter’s tape, painted o ..read more

Today I’m excited to share another easy beginner woodworking project! I recently built this DIY book and toy rack for my boys’ room. Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Kreg. All opinions are my own. I like the fact that this book rack is narrow and doesn’t take up much floor space, so it would be great in a small space, but you could also modify the dimensions if you want to make it larger. For this project, I used my favorite pocket hole jig aka the Kreg Jig 520PRO. I love this particular jig because it’s super portable, lightweight, and easy to use. I painted the book rack in Behr “Gra ..read more

One of my favorite furniture builds I’ve done has been this simple slatted coffee table. It’s one of the few pieces I brought with me to my new house when I moved, and I love it so much I decided to build a bench for my entryway to match! Today I’ll show you how to build this DIY slatted bench with hairpin legs. I’ll also be showing you a few new tools I used for this project, all of which I love. I wanted just a small, simple bench for my little narrow entryway, but of course you could modify the dimensions to make it larger depending on your space. I’m teaming up with my friends over at Kreg to share a tutorial for this DIY toy storage unit! I built this for my two youngest sons’ bedroom to display the LEGO sets they build, and the bins can serve as storage for miscellaneous toys. Of course you could just use it as a bookshelf too. Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Kreg. All opinions are my own. You can find the build plans and step by step tutorial here. I used my Kreg Jig 520PRO for this project. It’s my favorite pocket hole jig, although Kreg does offer several options. My boys love to build LEGO sets and they were starting to ..read more
