Life on the Farm this Spring
Hey there!
My days have been SO FULL here lately! After a winter marked by loss we are soaking up all the new life on the farm this Spring! As passionate as I am about sharing how to create a home you love as we bring our old home back to life, in the Spring my focus shifts to the farm babies and gardening. These things bring a different kind of joy and purpose to our lives. I love sharing them with you and hope you enjoy them too!

Garden Plans and Goals
Hey there!
I’m so excited to share our garden plans and goals with you today! I talked about developing our homestead a bit the other day, which you can find HERE if you missed it, but today I’ll be getting into the specifics of our garden.
Each year I try to learn more about gardening as I grow. I’ve planted most of these things before, but this year feels a bit more intentional. Over the winter this year I read some gardening and homestead books, and watched way too many videos. Now I can’t wait to get my hands in some dirt! No matter your gardening experienc ..read more

Garden and Homestead Plans
Hey hey!
I’m excited to share our garden and homestead plans with ya! I’ve spent the winer devouring gardening books, watching gardening videos, joining gardening groups, and just trying to soak up as much information as possible! We’ve had some kind of garden every year for 10 years. Some in just a few small containers and then gradually bigger since we’ve bought the farm. The more we get done on the house the more time I have to dedicate to the farm life side of things, which I love an equal amount!

Fixer Upper Farmhouse and Farm
Hi there!
I can’t believe it’s almost been three years at our fixer upper farmhouse and farm! And it’s been a very full and emotional past few days here so let’s chat about it. If you follow along on social media you saw the Kune Kune piglet we brought home ran away. I had waited months to welcome this little gal to our farm after spending a very very long time talking about what is next here for us. Needless to say we are heartbroken. We’ve searched and searched and done all the things we could think of or that was recommended to us to do to find her or get her ..read more

Farm Staycation
Hey hey!
Ed and I haven’t had a vacation since moving to the farm. So when he accepted a position at a new company we decided to take a 2 week farm staycation before he started his new job. I went into the vacation thinking we would get tons done around here, and we did, but best of all we relaxed and enjoyed this place we’re grateful to call home

The First Lamb was Born on Midcounty Farm!
Hi friend!
I have SO much to catch you up on! We’ve been in go mode the past few weeks and I haven’t really had a minute to sit down and document everything! But I thought I’d start with the sweetest surprise! Clementine had a lamb!! We had NO idea she was pregnant! We had the boys, or ram and wether, separated from the ewes all Fall and Winter, which is Babydoll breeding season. But somehow, we’re assuming through the fence, Clementine and Griffin found a way! Lol!
