PERSONAL PROJECT -RETRO DIMENSIONS AND TIME TRAVEL

Sometimes we all have to make time for a personal project. This one was a quick one in between my bookings. I wanted to go back in time with a selection of 2 colours: RED and GREEN. I didn't include any branding as this is a personal project and not a test shoot. I decided to use French-style glass and plastic spoons to give it that retro vibe that I really love. Some images are just ice cream bowls and some are just strawberries and more red vegetables. The inspiration came from 70s cookbooks and something very unlikely! I am fascinated by physics and dimensions/time travel. I wanted to play ..read more

1. Brief and storytelling Recently I help to create a series of images and videos for a Scottish, Edinburgh based healthy office catering brand’ Canteen’ . My job as a commercial photographer/ Art director was to create the set and match it to the food. Photography is more than just capturing a series of images; it is about telling a story through visuals. As a photographer working with a healthy food delivery brand, your r ..read more

Event photography for Rueda(Spain)/ Slonk wine at Leftield Edinburgh, UK. Had a pleasure to be invited to take some images for a wine event hosted by Leftield Edinburgh and Slonk wine. This was one of those typical early Spring rainy days in Edinburgh, but as a food photographer I accepted a challenge and used my flash to find light. As an Edinburgh, Glasgow region photographer my job is to represent the event even if it is raining. This is why it is important to understand how artificial light works and take that into consideration when hiring a photographer. Sharing some imagery from the da ..read more

It is located on the Castle terrace, the view is spectacular! Especially in summer when the skies are clear and we get those beautiful blue Northern European skies in Scotland! I love walking through the Meadows park in Edinburgh. What equipment do I need to photograph in bright daylight? I decided to take my Nikon d750 and a 50mm lens with me that day. I didn’t take my 35mm-105mm Micro lens, as wanted to swing ..read more
