Allison and Tyler's elopement at the JeffCo County Courthouse was the perfect way to start the next chapter of their story together. March 18 was their 13th anniversary together and it was fitting to fill the day with love and happiness as they exchanged vows in front of a small group of their closest family and friends.
Allison had found a previous blog feature showcasing another wedding at the Jefferson County Courthouse and reached out last minute to book. I'm so thrilled she did, and that I could be a part of their special day!

Micah and Blake met two years ago through mutual friends at Dordt University. Their relationship grew quickly as they shared a love for strategy board games and adventuring together. A short year later, Blake popped the question and Micah said YES!
They chose The Chateaux at Fox Meadows in Broomfield as the beautiful backdrop for their big day. With its stunning large windows and grand feel, it was a perfect space for a chilly late winter day! The staff was so helpful and catered to every detail. Micah and Blake's color palette of navy blue and wisteria purple gave a lovely winter vibe and po ..read more

Meghan and Myles' love for one another's sense of humor goes wayyyyy back to their first date. On April 1 in the middle of the pandemic, they had planned to go on a first date to a friend's house for dinner and drinks. Meghan texted Myles at the time they were supposed to meet, saying she couldn't make it. She followed that text up with "April Fools!" He laughed it off and they enjoyed the best time together. The rest is history!
Some time later, they planned a Memorial Day camping trip to Utah. They left right after work on Friday, but instead of an easy 2-hour drive, it turned into 6 hours ..read more

Zach quite literally came out of left field when he met Alex in 2018 while playing recreational softball. Alex quickly fell for Zach's personality and he fell in love with her eyes.
A few years later, on Fourth of July, they were hosting a party at their house. Zach went to light a firework and as they ran away from it, he dropped to a knee to ask her to marry him. She almost ran past him and was in shock for a few moments! After she realized what was happening, she said YES!
They chose Stove Prairie Ranch as the backdrop for their perfect fall wedding. With its upper meadow ceremony site and ..read more

Sometimes everything lines up in the most perfect way. And sometimes it happens on your wedding day. Jordyn and Brayden contacted me a few months ago to begin dreaming up their perfect wedding and it started with the date: October 1. They wanted a quiet mountain location with easy access and beautiful fall colors to share their vows and first kiss as Mr and Mrs. And they got their wish!
They met in high school. Jordyn was the new girl for freshman year, but they didn't officially meet until Halloween of that year. Their friend groups met up and Jordyn and Brayden hit it off instantly. Brayden ..read more

Materason and Parker met like so many other amazing couples: online! These two connected through Hinge and went on a first date to Wynkoop Brewery in downtown Denver, enjoying beers and games. They quickly discovered how easy it was to be around one another and didn't want the evening to end. As their relationship grew, their love for cooking, reading, and playing videogames together grew as well (and they even have an exclusive book club for just the two of them!)!
Fast forward a couple of years, Parker planned out a perfect day to take the next step. He used the excuse of celebrating Matera ..read more

Kate and Eric first met at work for a mortgage company through a coworker. They enjoyed a first date that fall at Streetcar 520 in Colorado Springs and quickly hit it off. Their laid back, yet passionate, personalities came together along with their love of helping others, hiking, and spending time in the kitchen cooking.
Fast forward three years. It was Christmas Eve in 2022 and after spending the morning with family, they decided to go on a hike that afternoon with some visiting friends from out of state. At the top of Mt Muscoco, Eric completely surprised Kate by proposing! On the way up t ..read more

Dana and Connor met as freshman at Colorado School of Mines back in 2012. Connor invited Dana out to a Rockies baseball game, tricking her into thinking it was a group going but he had only invited her. They quickly became best friends and spent the next ten years biking, skiing, golfing together.
During a tropical getaway to Cabo, Connor popped the question to Dana while golfing and of course, she said yes! These two now live in Texas but have a special place in their hearts for Colorado, so it was fitting to choose a venue that showcases the views they so dearly love. Mount Vernon Canyon Cl ..read more

Mckenna and Noah met at work for Universal Forest Products, when Noah was the lumber math instructor during a training session. They became close friends, enjoying concerts, camping, exploring new breweries, and cooking together. Their relationship grew into love and the rest is history.
Some time later, they took a weekend trip to Napa. Mckenna always suspected that Noah would propose to her on one of their crazy trips, but it wasn't until the second winery of the day during a hilltop picnic that Noah told her he had a present for her. She tried to smash the surprise with a sarcastic comment ..read more
