Rachael and Jeremiah have the kind of love that fills the room and overflows into the spaces around them. They wanted their wedding weekend to feel special, yet intimate. Only their closest friends and family were invited, making it the quaintest Vail winter elopement, held at the Four Seasons right in the center of town. The weather was chilly, yet hearts were warm. The Four Seasons can host larger weddings, but they are also capable of smaller events, even in the winter! The couple had a gorgeous setup by Rose Petals Vail with candles and greenery that cascaded down the stairs to the Meadow ..read more

On a rainy autumn day, Christie and Sam said their vows overlooking the football field at CU Boulder and the flatirons at the Folsom Field Events wedding venue. Looking at the forecast as the big day approached, we worried how to go about the event, as most of it was planned to be outside on the overlook deck named the Champions Center Terrace. The fog rolled in, covering most of the views of the Flatirons, which was the main focal point of the beautiful views from the venue. Christie and Sam didn’t seem to mind about the weather one bit, as their friends and family were gathering to witness ..read more

Aspen Meadows Resort Real Wedding | Nicole + Jesse Nicole and Jesse picked the absolute perfect weekend to host their Aspen Meadows Resort Plato’s Deck wedding, as the leaves were hitting peak foliage in early October. They found the most perfect intimate wedding venue that had views of Maroon Valley and within a 5 minute drive of downtown Aspen. They wanted an experience for their out of town guests to truly take in the beauty of Colorado. With the yellow and orange hues complimenting the hunter green and grays of their wedding party members, and the ‘cool but not cold’ crisp air of fall, it ..read more

Willow Ridge Manor Real Wedding; Amber + Luke Amber and Luke hosted a Willow Ridge Manor wedding after waiting a few long years due to the covid pandemic. It is safe to say that it was well worth the wait! Amber and Luke’s love story started organically at Runners Roost. Luke was a frequent run club member and Amber was the group leader. One night, Luke invited Amber out to a brewery with some of the run club members, which became a weekly endeavor. A few months later, Luke lost his keys at a brewery. This incident led up to Luke asking Amber out on their first date. They immediately gre ..read more

The Barn at Sunset Ranch Real Wedding | Ginger and Jim Ginger and Jim hosted their Barn at Sunset Ranch wedding right as the leaves were starting to change in the mountains for autumn! These two flew in from California, including the majority of their family and friends, to celebrate in true Colorado-country form. These two have lived ALL over the country (including Colorado), yet still love to call this state home. It’s where they first met, so it felt fitting to get married in the mountains. I love hearing the speeches at weddings, and Ginger and Jim’s was no exception. It’s when I get to he ..read more

Donovan Pavilion Real Wedding | Laura and Josh Laura and Josh hosted a Donovan Pavilion wedding in West Vail, Colorado with all of their friends and family in attendance! They are such a down to earth couple, and this venue was absolutely perfect for them! Beautiful, natural, and just real. I loved hearing their proposal story. A group of their friends rented a house in Breckenridge for the week to celebrate Laura’s birthday along with another friend’s birthday. In the morning, Josh told Laura he was making breakfast for the house. When Laura got up and walked into the kitchen, there was a pri ..read more

Boulder Flatirons Vista Engagement Session | Chelsea + Chris

Chelsea and Chris are two dear friends of mine. So when they got engaged, I knew I wanted to gift them an engagement session. Chelsea has such a great sense of style, so when we brainstormed a spot for their photos, she would send me a few mood boards. What I gathered was that they wanted timeless, and a space that didn’t seem “cliché” Colorado. They wanted it to be minimalistic. She shared images of a plain wheat field that she loved, and I instantly thought of the Boulder Flatirons Vista trailhead would work perfectly. They also wanted to incorporate the pup, Ziggy, into the shoot! Ziggy is ..read more
