Thursday, April 25, 2024, marked the groundbreaking of The Montana Food Bank Networks' new 53,000-square-foot warehouse. The warehouse will allow the food bank to expand and meet the increasing demand for its services. The ceremony consisted of a ground blessing as well as partners and employees speaking about what this new facility will allow them to do and how it will help the community at large. BILLINGS- Its been eight months since a Billings father embarked on a mission to end student lunch debt for families in Billings Public Schools. His goal is in reach, but Alex Clark says he needs several thousand more in donations to wipe out all debt through the end of the school year. We are at approximately $20,000 raised, said Clark. BUTTE - Butte held its annual Chinese New Year parade in Uptown Saturday afternoon. Celebrating the Year of the Dragon members of the Butte History Club danced the Chinese dragon through the streets of Uptown Butte and stopped along the way to give blessings to some of the businesses and wishing them good fortune in the new year. BUTTE - With the high cost of living, its difficult for many people to feel thankful this time of year, but the volunteers at the Butte Emergency Food Bank have put together hundreds of bags of food so people in need can at least feel thankful for something this Thanksgiving.
