After falling short in the NBA playoffs to the Los Angeles Lakers, the Golden State Warriors headed into the NBA offseason determined to shake things up, and that they did by trading Jordan Poole for veteran point guard Chris Paul.
Even though the move seemed a bit strange at the time, many believed it might ultimately be something that makes the team better moving forward because Poole seemed to be regressing or simply not caring about his shot selection on the floor, which has carried over to the Washington Wizards.

The Golden State Warriors have started this NBA season slowly.
After 19 games, Golden State has a 9-10 record.
They have been inconsistent and have yet to show they are true NBA title contenders.
Stephen Curry has been great, but a clear second option has yet to arise.
Klay Thompson has gotten off to a slow start, and Andrew Wiggins has not been good.
It is starting to look more and more clear the Warriors need to make a trade.
One player that seems to be available for the right price is Toronto Raptors forward Pascal Siakam.

Through all their good and bad times, one thing has always remained true for the Golden State Warriors: Stephen Curry can score and assist unlike anyone else.
Even at 35 years old, Curry is having yet another sensational season.
As noted by StatMamba, Curry now has 325 career games with 25+ points and 5+ assists.
That wildly impressive statistic is made even more amazing by the fact that NBA legends Magic Johnson and John Stockton had 280 such games combined.

The Golden State Warriors dynasty seems to be slowly fading away, as they have an 8-10 record after blowing a big lead and losing, 124-123, to the Sacramento Kings on Tuesday.
To add injury to insult, Gary Payton II, one of their key reserves, suffered an injury during the contest.
Per Shams Charania, he has been diagnosed with a torn right calf and will be out indefinitely.

Draymond Green isn’t just the heart and soul of the Golden State Warriors; he’s also a future first-ballot Hall of Famer.
But as good a player as he is, he’s also hurting his team with his temper right now.
Green talked his way off the floor last night, leading to an 11-3 run by the Sacramento Kings that doomed the Warriors in a must-win game.
That’s why former NBA player Kenny Smith criticized him after the Warriors’ loss, talking about how a seasoned player like him should stop crossing the line and apologizing for his actions, via NBA on TNT.

The Golden State Warriors need Klay Thompson at his best if they want to stand a chance to win a championship this season.
They might not even be a playoff team unless he gets his act together.
Thompson has struggled mightily this season, and the worst part about that is that he’s on the verge of signing a new contract.
He’s clearly angry about the way the media and the fans are talking about him, and he recently burst out against his haters by stating that those who criticize him cannot do what he does.

There was a time when the Golden State Warriors were regarded as one of the most dominant teams in the NBA.
In fact, they even won the 2022 NBA Championship behind the efforts of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Andrew Wiggins.
While all four players are still present on the Dubs roster, apart from Curry, every player has seemingly regressed in the last two years or so.
Due to that, the Warriors have struggled to win games, as they currently have a terrible 8-10 record in the Western Conference.

After a promising start to the 2023-24 NBA season, things have gotten tougher and tougher for the Golden State Warriors with every passing game, as this team filled with veteran stars has struggled to figure out how to play well consistently, leading to the team falling below .500 with a record of 8-9.

After an on-court altercation with Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves, in which he got the three-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year in a headlock during a game, Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was suspended by the league for five games.
In the aftermath of the suspension, Green has finally shared his thoughts on the NBA suspending him for five games, which he seems to think was a bit excessive.
Green believes that he’s continuing to be punished for things he’s done in the past, like when he was suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals ..read more
